Firm, plump, buttery, very nice.

I enjoyed this, it was not as salty as most and I appreciate that. I would love it if I could find a LOW SODIUM caviar. in the mean time, this was tasty.

Rainbow trout caviar

This batch was not up to par with my previous orders of the same product. In the past the tout roe would burst and pop in the mouth releasing the flavor. This batch was soft and mushy although the flavor was still pretty good. I also ordered the Golden Pearl trout roe this time and the same issue prevailed with that -- soft and mushy rather than firm and popping in the mouth.
