This deep red cabernet sauvignon balsamic vinegar is a truly one of the best red wine vinegars available, trusted by the world's best chefs. Just a few drops is enough to improve all your dishes, especially for those based around fish and seafood.
It is ideal as a reduction and goes perfect with salads, cheese, sauces and many kinds of dessert. This limited production, bittersweet vinegar contains a 8 year "solares". With the Solera aging method, instead of emptying the entire barrel, only a portion (typically around half) of the contents are removed. The rest of that original product remains behind, and then newly produced product is added to restore the barrel to full capacity. The mixture is then placed back into storage to age. This helps create a beautifully balanced, slightly sweet, but pleasantly acidic wine vinegar.
This Forum vinegar is a blend of 70% Cabernet wine vinegar and 30% oak barrel aged grape must (balsamic vinegar).
