Non-Sturgeon Roe

Fish roes from non-sturgeon species. Commonly called "red caviar", Salmon roe is a classic Eastern-European specialty, packed in vitamins, nutrients and omega 3s. Our Salmon roe is sustainably caught wild out of the North Pacific Ocean.

Trout roe is very popular roe amongst Europeans and Americans for it's firm pop and bright, fresh, flavor. It is most commonly farmed. Wild American Bowfin and Paddlefish are common "caviar substitutes" as they are dark in color and have more characteristics similar to true sturgeon caviar than a red-hued roe from a salmonoid might.
