HAWAIIAN POKE with SMOKED TROUT CAVIAR
Serves 4
Ingredients
- Sushi Grade Tuna or Salmon x 1lb cut into cubed, bite-size pieces
- Soy sauce x ¼ cup
- Green onions x 8 each, cut on the bias
- Sweet onion x ¼ cup, fine dice
- Sesame oil x 2 tsp
- Fresh ginger x 1 tsp, peeled & minced
- Crushed hot pepper flakes x 1 tsp
- Toasted sesame seeds x 2 tsp, roasted
- Fresh tomato x ¼ cup, fine dice
- Smoked trout caviar x 4 ounce (can sub with plain trout roe or salmon roe).
- *Optional: serve over warm rice or make crispy rice squares vessels.
Instructions
- Gently mix all ingredients and serve chilled.
- If serving over rice, warm rice and place Poke on top.
