Description
Buram Natural Honeys
Our honey is classified and labeled according to origin, variety of blossom, or method of extraction. The flavor and aroma of honey is specific to the variety of flora from which the nectar is gathered by the bees. As with wine and olive oil, the terrior also matters as the soil composition, climate, air quality and time of harvest impact the flavors, fructose levels, and consistency of the honey.
These single-varietal gems are made from the delicate blossoms of various trees and flowers and all have the wonderful full flavors of nature.
Acacia Honey has a clean, light vanilla taste is perfection on the palate. This single-varietal gem is made from the delicate blossoms of the Acacia tree. One taste of this fine honey, and you will be an Acacia lover forever! This is honey perfection. 12.5 oz - 350g
Thyme Honey makes it the perfect spot for the heavenly marriage of thyme and honey. Bees feast on nectar and pollen from the tiny purple flowers of the thyme bush in the summer, and those essential oils pass from the buds to the bees through to the honey. Our aromatic Thyme Honey has a delicate yet distinctive floral flavor and is a light, lovely Champagne color. 8.45 oz - 250g
Wildflower honey is exactly what it sounds like. Derived from a variety of wildflowers and plants which are blooming during the summer months. It's a thicker honey and the taste varies from year to year based on what's in bloom. This honey has a delightful taste and is darker in color. Darker honey has more vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant properties compared to lighter honey. 8.45 oz - 250g
Forrest Honey is born from the Nectar of One Hundred Flowers in the Wilderness of the Fragrant Humid Forest and has the fresh and delicate scent of the mountains. Forest Honey is made from the honeydew collected in summertime. It is dark amber in color and remains consistently liquidy over a long period of time. It is a perfect breakfast spread or can be added to natural yogurt and milk. It also matches perfectly with Asiago cheese. 8.45 oz - 250g
Chestnut Honey is sublime with the pairing of gorgonzola and walnuts. It makes a wonderful glaze for your Thanksgiving turkey. Chestnut Honey can make a spectacular appetizer with a small plate, dollop of good ricotta, on a bed of arugula, and a swirl of chestnut honey. It is excellent with teas and bread, and is a fabulous addition to cheese. 8.45 oz - 250g
