Description

EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE THROUGH CAVIAR STAR.

You don’t have to travel all the way to Russia or Iran in order to find the finest caviar available. About an hour's drive away from the the town of Bordeaux in the South of France lies the aquaculture and caviar production site, Prunier. The Prunier Farm can be found in the luscious landscape of the Dordogne, idyllically situated on the River Isle. Here, about 150,000 sturgeon call Montpon-Ménestérol, a town in the county of Gironde, their home. They live in woodlands outdoors, in a large pool connected to the River Isle through an open water circuit.

Prunier has been perfecting the art of French food since 1872, opening the first caviar house in 1921 with caviar made from sturgeons caught along along the rivers of Bordeaux.

Prunier began their caviar expertise with Siberian Sturgeon. The smooth, buttery baerii caviar will leave you wanting to lick the jar. Traditionally from the major Siberian river basins, these Sturgeon are raised from generations of Sturgeon hatched in France.  The expertise of Prunier producers and a high quality, especially oily feed makes their caviar highly regarded across the world for its pristine quality and taste. Chocolate brown to dark amber in color, the delicate pearls are brimming with a delicious buttery, briny flavor. Now available in the USA, Caviar House & Prunier Siberian is truly a top-shelf treat for occasions that demand the purest of salted sturgeon roes.

Characteristics: Soft and subtle texture, dark amber to gray in color, briny, creamy flavor.

Hand packed and quality checked for color, size, freshness, flavor and texture.
