This amazing Spanish extra virgin olive oil has Protected Denomination of Origin SIURNA and is produced entirely from Arbequina olives grown within the SIURNA region in the Catalan province of Tarragona in northeast Spain. Local cooperative member farmers hand pick the Arbequina olives in November while still a little green. The fresh olive fruit is rushed to the local processor within 24 hours of harvest to be cold pressed which is the only extraction method allowed by the P.D.O. SIURANA regulating council.
